MIT examines potential Boston microgrid

Severe weather events have forced many cities to reevaluate the structure of their electrical grid.  MIT, in collaboration with the Boston Redevelopment Authority, is examining how a microgrid for Boston might improve resiliency and performance as well yield future cost savings.
